Cabinet approval to purchase 5,000kg of paddy from each farmer

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the proposal made by the Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera and the Development and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrama, to purchase paddy up to a maximum of 5,000 kilogram from each farmer during the ‘Yala’ season this year.
