(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Several spells of light showers will occur in the Northern, Eastern, North-Central and Uva Provinces, and in Matale and Hambanthota Districts, the Department of Meteorology said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere after 2.00 PM.
Fairly heavy falls about 75 millimetres can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western and North-Western Provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts.
Misty conditions may occur at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western Provinces during the morning.
