Seven-member Judge Bench to consider FR petition against IGP, former Defence Sec.

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya has decided to appoint a 7-member Judge Bench to consider the Fundamental Rights (FR) petition against the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara and former Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Hemasiri Fernando for failing to act on the forewarnings on the Easter Sunday attacks.
