(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –A special discussion has been held between the deputy leader of the United National Party (UNP) presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa and the President Maithripala Sirisena last night at the President’s official residence.
UNP General Secretary Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam and Chairman Minister Kabir Hashim have also participated in the discussions.
The discussion which began at around 9:45 pm lasted for over an hour.
However the matters discussed at the meeting have not been disclosed to the media yet.
