(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – The Dam Street police acting on a tip-off took into custody a suspect with Rs 10 million worth of heroin, at Jampettah Street.
Over a kilogram of heroin was found in the possession of the suspect, said the Police.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the suspect is a drug dealer and Dam Street Police are conducting further investigations.
