(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 756 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Tuesday.
Among the positive cases identified Tuesday are 743 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster and 13 are from the prison cluster.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 10:30 pm Tuesday, a total of 77,184 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 6,346 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 664 individuals are currently suspected of infection and hospitalized.
Sri Lanka reported 6 deaths Tuesday raising the total to 409 and 70,429 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
