(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Karu Jayasuriya, Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka visited India to attend the 153rd birth anniversary commemorations of Anagarika Dharmapala, organized by the Mahabodhi Society of India.
During the visit, the renovated premises of the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Mumbai were opened by the Speaker on 16th September.
The official ceremony commenced with the National Anthem and lighting of the Traditional Oil Lamp.
During his visit in Mumbai the Speaker was met by Shri Jaykumar Rawal, Minister of Tourism of the Maharashtra Government.
