(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Sri Lanka’s upcoming local government election will be monitored by election observers from several countries, the Election Commission said.
Election commission said that it has been decided to deploy ten foreign observers for observation of the polls to local government bodies.
Accordingly, four observers from India and two observers each from Korea, Maldives and Indonesia will be summoned.
The foreign observers will be deployed to monitor the elections on the 10th February.
