(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Sacred Relics of Sarnath in Baranes which were brought to Sri Lanka for Special Exposition at Temple Trees in view of Vesak festival were taken back to India yesterday following a special religious ceremony at the VVIP Lounge of the Bandaranaike International Airport.
Buddhasasana Minister Gamini Jayawickrema Perera and Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Ekanayake were present on the occasion.
