Use of drones, unmanned aircraft banned following attacks

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The use of drones and unmanned aircraft has been temporarily banned withing Sri Lankan airspace following the Easter Sunday attacks.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that the ban will be in effect until further notice.

The temporary ban follows the deadly suicide attacks in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.

Emergency regulations have been enforced to arrest suspects linked to the terror network involved in the attacks.
