(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – A policeman has been interdicted for attempting to return knives and axes which were seized from a mosque.
The Police said that the acting Officer in Charge of the Welambada Police was interdicted as he had attempted to return 76 knives and 13 axes.
The knives and axes had been seized from a mosque during a raid and search operation.
