(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – The accused in a double murder in Kotakethana in 2012 has been sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court today (15).
The culprit nicknamed ’Raju’ has been found guilty of murdering a mother (52) and daughter (17) in Kotakethana back in 2012.
The Kotakethana Murders refer to series of 15 murders that took place between 2008 – 2015 in and around Kahawatta, Kotakethana, Damvulwala, Warapitiya, Opathwatte and nearby areas in the Ratnapura district
