Coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka rises to 18

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Sri Lanka’s Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said seven more Sri Lankans were confirmed of testing positive for the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

Accordingly, the number of coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 18.

The health officials said all seven new patients are males, who had arrived from Italy recently. They were quarantined at the Kandakadu quarantine center.

The new coronavirus patients are all currently being treated at the Polonnaruwa Hospital.
