(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Government of Sri Lanka has declared a three day public holiday from today (until Thursday). The government had requested the private sector to also grant the holiday.
According to the Department of Government Information, this three day holiday will not apply to health, food supply, transport, essential services, banking, District Secretariats and Divisional Secretariats.
