(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 3,103new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Saturday.
Among the positive cases identified Saturday are, 3,094 persons from the New Year COVID-19 cluster and 09 foreign arrivals currently in quarantine.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 8:15 pm Saturday, a total of 202,357 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 34,569 infected patients are being treated at hospitals, while 166,132 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 1,920,801 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 353,894 have received the second dose.
