(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Sri Lanka confirmed 40 deaths due to COVID-19 on Saturday, June 05, 2021.
The Director General of Health Services Saturday confirmed 40 deaths including one death occurred Saturday and 39 deaths occurred from 21st May to 04th June due to Covid-19 virus infection.
The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 1,696 by now.
