(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 726 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Saturday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 8:30 pm Saturday, a total of 525,663 COVID-19 cases have been reported since the inception of the pandemic. While 32,738 infected patients are currently under medical care at hospitals and homes, 479,629 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Sri Lanka Saturday reported 29 deaths within last 24 hours raising the total to 13,296.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 14,684,749 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 12,255,004 have received the second dose.
