(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 345 new COVID-19 infections were reported so far on Monday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 7 pm Monday, a total of 656,386 COVID-19 cases have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
While 21,018 infected patients are currently under medical care at hospitals and homes, 618,961 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Sri Lanka Monday reported 10 deaths raising the total to 16,407.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 16,952,784 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 14,262,840 have received the second dose. In addition, 7,570,290 have received the third booster dose.
