(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The ousted Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his family members left for the United States yesterday(26), local media reported.
Gotabaya Rajapaksa, his wife Ayoma Rajapaksa, son Daminda Manoj Rajapaksa, daughter-in-law SD Rajapaksa and granddaughter DH Rajapaksa have left the country this morning, Lankadeepa reported.
The family has left the Bandaranaike International Airport at Katunayake at 02.55 this morning on an Emirates flight.
The airport sources said the group will first go to Dubai and then leave for the United States.
