(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – A magnitude 4.4 earthquake was reported off Hambantota early this morning, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said.
The quake was recorded 25.8 km from Hambantota in shallow waters.
There was no damage or threat of a tsunami as a result of the quake.
