“Over 55,000 projects in 3-years sans propaganda” – Minister Sagala

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Project Management, Youth Affairs and Southern Development Minister Sagala Ratnayaka said the government, over the past three years, has launched over 55,000 development projects in various parts of the country and spent over Rs. 1 million on each project.

IAEA to assist Sri Lanka in nuclear energy

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says it will continue to support Sri Lanka in many areas including nuclear medicine, non-destructive testing in industry and assistance in introducing nuclear energy. IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano reviewed the cooperation between the IAEA and Sri Lanka during his visit to the country on 14 March, the agency said in a statement on Tuesday (20).
