(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The second reading of the 2018 Budget was passed with 93 majority votes yesterday (16th Nov.) in the Parliament.
151 members voted in favour of the proposal with amendments while 58 members voted against it.
The Committee Stage debate on the Budget proposals would commence today (17th Nov.) and it is scheduled to continue until 9th December.
