(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Secretary to the Ministry of Petroleum Resources Development Upali Marasinghe stressed that there’s no any petrol shortage in country.
“A set of people spreading around that there’s a petrol shortage in the country, in this situation, customers are increasing their stocks, unnecessarily. There’s no any petrol shortage and we request from people to not to panic”, the Secretary said.
He further added, “We request from public to not to keep unnecessary stocks and we kindly request from people to contact our 24 hours hotline number 0115455130 if any issue arises. We can issue petrol to bourses which are coming to without any delay.”
