(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Ground frost is expected to continue in parts of the Nuwara-Eliya district, the Department of Meteorology said today.
It said that dry weather with colder nights and mornings can be expect over most parts of the island today (January 8). Ground frost can be expected at some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district in the early hours of the morning.
Mainly fair weather will continue over most provinces of the island.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces, the Department of Meteorology said.
