(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Sri Lankan government has received approval from the cabinet of ministers to award the contract for issuing Vehicle Emission Test Certificates to three local firms, a statement on most recent cabinet decisions said.
The three local firms have been recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committee (CANC).
Accordingly, the cabinet approved awarding the contract for the Issuing of Vehicle Emission Test Certificates to M/s Laughs Eco Sri (Pvt.) Ltd., M/s Cleanco Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. and M/s Auto Test Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd.
The proposal was put forward by the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva to award the contract to the three companies.
