(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Following the directive of Finance Ministry to reduce prices of fuel from midnight Thursday (10), Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC), the competitor to the state-run fuel distributor Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, has also revised its fuel prices.
Accordingly, the price of a liter of petrol 92 and premium 95 would be reduced by Rs.2 and price of Super Diesel would be reduced by Rs.3 per liter and Auto Diesel would be reduced by Rs.2 per liter with effect from midnight Thursday (10).
New prices per liter:
Lanka Auto Diesel (LAD) – Rs. 99
Lanka Super Diesel (Euro 4) – Rs. 118
Lanka Petrol 92 Octane – Rs. 131
Xtra Premium 95 (Euro 4) – Rs. 150
