Sarah Hulton appointed new UK High Commissioner to Sri Lanka

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Mrs Sarah Hulton OBE has been appointed as the new British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka in succession to James Dauris.

Mrs Hulton will take up her appointment during August 2019, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) said yesterday(02).

Mr James Dauris will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment, the FCO said.

Hulton, who is currently the Deputy Director of Human Resources Directorate of the FCO has previously served as the Head of FCO’s Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea Department, Asia Pacific Directorate as well as the Head of Political Section in Harare, Zimbabwe.
