(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – All faculties except the Medical Faculty of the Kelaniya University will be closed until further notice, the university administration announced today.
The administration of the university says the decision was taken since a group of students had objected to the security measures taken by the university administration under the prevailing situation in the country.
According to the Vice Chancellor of the Kelaniya University, said steps have been taken to close all faculties except for the medical faculty for the safety of the majority of the students.
