(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Sri Lanka Police have arrested a suspect carrying a stock of methamphetamine (Ice) and Hashishin Rudra Mawatha, Wellawatte today.
A’ team of officers of the Organized Crime Prevention Division has carried out the raid when the suspect on a motorcycle was transporting the drugs. He was in the possession of 2.036kg of ‘Ice’ and 1.6kg of hashish.
The 35-year-old suspect identified as Raja Gopal Sivanandan, is a resident of Modara.
The suspect is due to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Court today (29).
Further investigations are underway by the Organized Crime Prevention Division.
