(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Deputy Leader of the United National Party (UNP), Minister Sajith Premadasa has requested all those who had left the UNP to rejoin the party with him in the program to build the country.
Minister Premadasa says that many people who are distant from the UNP due to various ideologies are looking to work for the party. He says that ideology is something that can be discussed and resolved, not factors for separation
The Deputy Leader has called on all former parliamentarians, provincial councilors and all local government representatives, who made sacrifices for the party but alienated from the party due to various ideological struggles, to join hands for the victory of the party and the people again.
Sajith Premadasa said he is with utmost respect inviting former General Secretary of the UNP Tissa Attanayake, who worked actively and was able to build the party organizational network from the grass root level strengthening the party at the most difficult time, to join him in building the party’s pride and the country
