(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – The Election Commission says that 1618 election related complaints have been reported to the National Election Complaints Management Center and District Election Complaints Management Centers since the Presidential Election was announced.
Among them were 14 incidents of violence, 1537 cases of violation of law and 67 other complaints.
The National Elections Complaints Management Center has received 555 complaints while the District Elections Complaints Management Center has received 1063 complaints.
