(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Sri Lanka Police Narcotics Bureau today deployed two robots at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) to detect drugs.
The two robots were gifted by China and are to be used specifically for drug and narcotic detection.
This is the first time in history that the Police Narcotics Bureau will be using robots for operational purposes.
