(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Chairman of Election Commission Mahinda Deshapriya stated that although the marking of postal votes for the forthcoming Presidential Election was completed yesterday (07), the counting of ballots will only commence after 5.00 PM on 16 November.
Hence, predicting the outcome of postal voting is futile, Deshapriya stressed.
Therefore, he urged the public not to be deceived by any-and-all predictions ahead of the election.
