(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Three people of the same family were electrocuted in Ukuwela, Matale, the Police said.
The Policed said that a man, his wife and daughter-in-law were killed after being electrocuted last night (29).
The man had reportedly been found dead near an illegal power line and his wife and daughter-in-law had been killed while attempting to rescue him.
Investigations are underway.
