(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The government says it has allocated an additional Rs.500 million to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.
The Cabinet of Ministers granted approval to set aside Rs.10 billion to pay dues to medicine and medical equipment suppliers.
Speaking at a media briefing at the Government Information Department today, Minister Bandula Gunawardana said with the move, the country will not experience any shortage of medicinal drugs.
