(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The number of total confirmed COVID-19 coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka has risen to 197 according to the Health Promotion Bureau report released at 8 am Saturday.
Health Ministry has confirmed that seven new Coronavirus patients have been identified in the last 24 hours bringing the total active patients receiving treatment at hospitals to 136.
Seven patients have died and 54 patients including the Chinese tourist, who was the first COVID-19 case detected in the country in January and discharged earlier this month, have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
