(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Sri Lanka Navy Spokesperson Captain Indika De Silva said that the Welisara Naval Base and Navy Hospital Welisara which was closed for nearly three months due to the COVID-19 infection, will reopen completely today.
The Navy spokesman said the operations will be commenced following the health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
As of now, 899 naval personnel out of the total number of infected ones, have been discharged from hospitals after tested negative to COVID-19.
