(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Another 128 Sri Lankans stranded abroad due to the COVID-19 epidemic have arrived in the island.
According to the manager of the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport said the expatriates have arrived from China, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and the Maldives.
Accordingly, 59 Sri Lankans have arrived in the island from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and 39 Sri Lankans from Doha, Qatar. Five Sri Lankans also arrived in the island from Shanghai, China, while the rest came from the Maldivian capital, Male.
They have all been subjected to PCR tests at the airport premises and taken to quarantine centers.
