(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 458 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Wednesday.
All the positive cases identified Wednesday are associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 10 pm Wednesday, a total of 81,467 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 4,496 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 523 individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.
Sri Lanka reported four deaths Wednesday raising the total to 457 and 76,514 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
