(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 249 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Sunday.
Among the positive cases identified Sunday are, 237 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster and 12 foreign arrivals.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 11 pm Sunday, a total of 92,088 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 2,906 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 411 individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.
Sri Lanka reported two deaths on Sunday raising the total to 561 and 88,623 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Up to Sunday, a total of 894,053 individuals have been vaccinated.
