(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 357 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Sunday.
Among the positive cases identified Sunday are, 281 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster, 06 associates of prison cluster, and 70 foreign arrivals.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 8 pm Sunday, a total of 96,796 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 3,065 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 370 individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.
One death due to COVID-19 were reported on Sunday raising the total to 618 and 93,113 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
