(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The Director General of Health Services Monday confirmed 19 deaths that occurred from May 10th to May 17th due to Covid-19 virus infection. The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 981 by now.
Among the deaths confirmed Thursday are 5 females and 14 males. In most cases the cause of death is mentioned as COVID-19 pneumonia.
