(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Sri Lanka confirmed another 28 deaths due to COVID-19 on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
The Director General of Health Services Tuesday confirmed 28 deaths that included five deaths on Tuesday and 23 deaths occurred from May 18 to May 24 due to Covid-19 virus infection.
Meanwhile, the Director General of Health Services corrected the Monday’s death toll to 1,241 as two deaths have been counted twice. The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 1,269 by now.
