(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 2,912 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Monday.
Among the positive cases identified Monday are, 2,882 persons from the New Year COVID-19 cluster and 30 foreign arrivals currently in quarantine.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 9:00 pm Monday, a total of 186,364 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 33,183 infected patients are being treated at hospitals, while 151,740 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 1,608,518 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 348,224 have received the second dose.
