(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Sri Lanka Thursday reported that 43 deaths due to COVID-19 occurred on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
The Director General of Health Services today confirmed that 43 deaths occurred on Wednesday 30 June due to the COVID-19.
Among the Wednesday’s dead are 27 females and 16 males. The majority of the deaths numbering 37 are of the people in the over 60 years of age group.
According to the data reported by the Government Information Department, the total deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began last March has now risen to 3,120 including the deaths confirmed Wednesday.
