(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 912 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Thursday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 8:30 pm Thursday, a total of 517,377 COVID-19 cases have been reported since the inception of the pandemic. While 46,983 infected patients are currently under medical care at hospitals and homes, 457,488 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Sri Lanka Monday reported 59 deaths within last 24 hours raising the total to 12,906.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 14,502,913 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 11,730,315 have received the second dose.
