(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) –According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 737 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Thursday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 8:30 pm Thursday, a total of 554,459 COVID-19 cases have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
While 14,827 infected patients are currently under medical care at hospitals and homes, 525,560 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Sri Lanka Thursday reported 15 deaths raising the total to 14,072.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 15,894,375 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 13,688,710 have received the second dose. In addition, 144,742 have received the third booster dose.
