(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – An express night train service between Colombo Fort and Badulla will commence from tonight (23), the Railway Department said.
The first night train between Colombo Fort and Badulla is scheduled to leave Colombo Fort at 8.30 pm tonight. The train will leave Badulla at 5.50 pm tomorrow (24).
This train will run at the same time as the night mail train between Colombo Fort and Badulla.
This night train service is operated with modern facilities using S14 power sets, the General Manager of Railways said.
