(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has appointed two new secretaries to the Ministry of Mass Media and Ministry of Agriculture, President’s Media Division said.
Mr. D.M.L.D. Bandaranayake has been appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture with immediate effect.
Meanwhile Mr. Anusha Palpita has been appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media with effect from January 01, 2022.
Senior Sri Lanka Administrative Officer Anusha Pelpita has previously held several posts including the post of Director General of Government Information Department as well as the post of Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Policy and Planning.
Jagath P. Wijeweera, the current Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media is due to retire on the 31st of this month.
