(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 584 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Thursday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 6:45 pm Thursday, a total of 590,063 COVID-19 cases have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
While 13,423 infected patients are currently under medical care at hospitals and homes, 561,557 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Sri Lanka Thursday reported 18 deaths raising the total to 15,083.
According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 15,996,826 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 13,852,537 have received the second dose. In addition, 4,198,427 have received the third booster dose.
